What it calculates
Using the selected body's standard gravitational parameter μ and mean radius, v = √(μ/r) and T = 2π√(r³/μ).
Working now Starter lab / RKLB
Calculate ideal circular-orbit velocity and period at an altitude around Earth, the Moon or Mars.
Working starter tool / v0.1
Calculate ideal circular-orbit velocity and period at an altitude around Earth, the Moon or Mars.
Using the selected body's standard gravitational parameter μ and mean radius, v = √(μ/r) and T = 2π√(r³/μ).
This is a two-body circular-orbit model. It ignores atmosphere, oblateness, perturbations, terrain, maneuvers and operational constraints; it is not flight software.
Build on the mission
Independent starter tool. This lab is functional software, but it is intentionally narrow and does not claim to complete the full Orbit Commons roadmap. Public, non-sensitive datasets only. No tools intended for harmful tracking or targeting.
